Questions and Comments

Dear, Will

After reading Othello I have a few questions and comments. First I would like to ask what in the world were you thinking when you wrote the death scene and Desdemona dies, comes back to life and then dies again. That is just ridiculous and impossible! The second thing I would like to say is how well you used comedy in this very serious and tragic play. Anyone who starts this play is bound to read more because of one line, "the old black ram is tupping your white ewe." That line just got me hooked. Only a genius could write a line that is that amazing. Overall you did a very nice job on this play, and feel it will be very popular for many generations to come.

Sincerelly ,

Chance Stephens

P.S. When are you gonna write a real comedy?

  1. You are one of the only people who thought that line was funny, sir! Looking forward to reading A Midsummer Night's Dream with you guys...can't wait to see what lines we repeat over and over and over and over and over again from that one ;)
